Tutor Biography

Bonjour everyone!

I’m Sophie Six, and I’m French native from in Tours, in the heart of Loire Valley. A few years ago, I moved to Cognac, in the middle of a wonderful vineyard in the southwest of France.

I have a master’s in Human Resources and after different experiences, I went back in the French education system to earn a certification in FLE (Teacher of French as a second language). I have been teaching immigrant adults and children for 5 years. My goal is to support and help my students in their learning and make them confident. I adapt my teaching to each student. I’m reliable and have a good sense of communication. I love teaching and sharing my passion for the French language.

I’ve also prepared students for passing official exams such as the DELF/DALF.

My hobbies are rowing, I love this demanding sport that requires effort and tenacity, I also love cooking and passing on this joy for cooking to my children.
