Bonjour, my name is Esther and I am a French native. I was born near Strasbourg in Alsace (the region next to Germany).
I enjoy teaching French because it’s always a challenge to customise the lessons so that you can learn in the best way. I like to see you progress and become more confident. I’m passionate about the concept of learning by playing. I often add some games in my courses so that you can practice French in an interesting way.
To speak about my background, I studied at the University of Strasbourg. First I got a Bachelor in applied foreign languages in English and in German. Then I graduated with a Master 2 in teaching French as a foreign language.
I lived for 2 years in Germany. I taught FFL in a French Institute to a wide range of people : from children to seniors.
Then I came back to Strasbourg. I organized French conversation workshops in a coffee shop. I taught French to non French-speaking parents whose children are in French schools. Now, in parallel with LFAH, I’m teaching French to asylum seekers.
