Tutor Profile

Bonjour ! My name is Elise and I am a French native. After living in Paris for two years, I came back to live in the beautiful region of Brittany, in Rennes.

Traveling and discovering new cultures is a real pleasure for me, which is why I also love to introduce foreigners to the French language and culture.

I studied English for twelve years and I am used to watching all my movies and tv series in this language. Therefore my grasp of the English language helps in facilitating the teaching of French, especially with beginner learners.

I got my university degree in Modern Literature with an option French as a Foreign Language (FFL) and a Master’s degree in French Didactics and Linguistics specializing in FFL.

During my studies, I started to teach at the university and at the International Mobility Center of Rennes. After my studies, I worked for a statistics school as a FFL teacher. I have been teaching French online to foreigners and I am truly enjoying this way of teaching. I teach to people of different ages, origins and levels and I know how to adapt to any student profile.

Full of energy and passionate about my job, I create my own lessons so that they are authentic, current, upbeat and adapted to the needs and goals of students.
