Bonjour !

My name is Charlotte, I am a French native. I grew up in Brittany, a region in Western France, close to the sea. I traveled a lot with my family as a child which is the reason why I developed a strong interest in discovering foreign cultures at an early age.

I first studied English Literature and Civilization, but then decided to move towards Specialized Education. I wanted to guide people going through various difficulties to find their way. I had the opportunity to work in different NGOs, especially in Child Welfare for many years, supporting refugee teenagers in building their life in France, learning about French language and culture. I am always curious about meeting new cultures, I traveled a lot through South East Asia, have lived in Sri Lanka and in the French West Indies. I am now living in India with my family. I speak English, I learned German and Arabic at school, and I am currently learning Hindi.

All these life experiences lead me to teach my beautiful native language. I graduated from the Alliance Française of Paris. I taught adults, teenagers, and kids with special needs. I believe that teaching is also sharing, this is the best way to learn about new cultures and to open your mind. This is what I love about teaching : every day is a new discovery !

I love to create a serene and positive environment during the lesson so that you can learn at your own pace, guiding you through the steps to reach your goals in French. The most important to me is that you gain enough self-confidence to be able to communicate in French without fear.

In my free time I love to cook, read, travel, swim, practice meditation, yoga, and music. And obviously (I’m French), I love to spend time with my family and friends, talking about life with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, watching a beautiful sunset !
