Tutor Profile

Bonjour à tous,

French from my dad‘s side and Québécoise from my mum’s, I was born in Montreal and I grew up in France in a bicultural family that loved to travel. Soon I decided to learn another language and went to China and then Taiwan to learn mandarin. That’s where I started to teach French to Taiwanese. I’m passionate about story telling, songs and games, I naturally specialized with kids and became the French teacher of a private elementary school for 6 years in Taipei, where I taught to all levels from kindergarten to 6th grade. At the same time I was performing storytelling’s plays in the schools and libraries of Taipei to make Taiwanese kids discover the French language and the culture through stories and songs. Le Petit Prince was very popular! Finally, two years ago, I decided to go back to my roots and to settle down in Montreal where I continue to teach French and eat a lot of poutines and sirop d’érable! 😋

To me learning a new language is a real challenge as well as an adventure and I’m happy whenever I can help a student to achieve their goals. I try as much as possible to make the learning process a fun and interesting journey.
