This programme of French exercises by email has been created to boost your French listening comprehension, writing skills as well as your spoken abilities!
20 years ago, Learn French at Home was the first French language school on the net offering French lessons on Skype. We have also built a huge library of in-house materials and eBooks. Students are saying that our grammar book is the easiest one to understand, and that our series of short stories with audio links are very entertaining and effective.
We are also proud to say that we work very closely with a wonderful team of French native teachers who are true professionals, encouraging and also bilingual.
Every Wednesday, you will receive an email with a Word File or a Google Doc containing:
- A clearly explained French lesson by email according to your French level.
- Grammar /vocabulary exercise(s)
- A listening exercise.
- A French writing assignment.
- A paragraph (or a few sentences) to read and record to get feed-back on your French pronunciation.
You will have until the next Monday to complete your homework. Once we’ve received your work, you will receive personalised corrections on every assignment from a professional French teacher.
Any linguistic expert will tell you the same thing: expose yourself to hundreds of hours of listening. And to learn new vocabulary, expressions, there is nothing like reading and writing!
Whether you are currently taking an online (or on site) French class or not, this extra work will give you the added boost you might need. When learning a language, there is nothing like receiving constant feedback.
Today, there are many ways to learn French such as language Apps, BUT there is no substitute for personalised feedback. Some AI apps claim to give feedback but there is nothing like a real person to help and guide you.
Establishing a work routine when learning a language is crucial. Again, every Wednesday, you will receive your French lesson, a listening, reading + a writing assignment. You will receive corrections and feedback on every completed assignment.

To register, first, we need you to fill out this questionnaire so that we can send you the work assignments according to your current level (you can define your current level according to the French levels definitions).

To finalise the registration, please make the payment. You will receive your first assignment next Wednesday.
