Each lesson includes a 50-minute class followed with up to one hour of homework (the homework will consist of reading a few pages of the book and preparing answers to questions).
To fully enjoy this online class, you need to have a minimum of a B1 level (intermediate). You can progress at your own pace and choose to take one or more lessons per week. The classes will be conducted entirely in French.
How are the French Classes Structured?
.
The teacher will suggest authors and titles according to your preference. Or you can ask to work on a specific novel or story of your choice.
You and the teacher will each own a copy of the same book. The teacher will suggest a class structure which can be customized to your wishes.
One typical class structure example is:
-The teacher assigns you a certain number of pages to read before the lesson. Meanwhile, the teacher will have a few questions prepared for you about the reading to discuss during class. In addition, you might read a few paragraphs/pages together. At the end of the class, the teacher will again assign you a certain number of pages to read for the next lesson.
The teachers are flexible and always willing to customize the structure of the class to your suggestions and motivations.
During this French class, you will continuously learn new vocabulary, expressions and the teacher will clarify any questions regarding vocabulary, sentence structure and grammar.
