Conversational French Lessons

Experience comfortable and motivating one-on-one French Conversation lessons from your home or office. You’ll learn with a friendly French native teacher on Zoom or Skype. The webcam (optional) and the chat board of Skype/Zoom both bring an important visual side to the conversational lesson. Interaction between the student and the teacher creates a clear and lively learning experience. You’ll be able to follow with ease as the teacher writes the new vocabulary, expressions, grammar points and corrections on the chat board. Gain real confidence in speaking while learning at your own pace.

Each French Conversation class takes place on Zoom or Skype with a teacher who is a French native speaker. Each French Conversation class is 50 minutes in duration.

During the French conversation lesson, the teacher will gently correct you as you speak. The teacher will type any new vocabulary, expressions and corrections on the Skype chat board. In addition, the teacher will motivate you to express your opinions and thoughts. You will also engage in debate during your French conversation practice as well. We’ll have you answer and ask questions in addition to working on pronunciation. The teacher will encourage you so that you can express yourself in French with more fluidity and up-to-date expressions. After each session, the teacher will send the Skype chat board notes of the conversation to you via email.

Note that the French Conversation Sessions do not include any homework. Also please note that the sessions will include some light grammar revision when needed. However, if you have not learned the basics of French grammar or if you need review, then we suggest that you first register for the Regular lessons. Another option is to sign up for a package of Conversational French lessons and a package of Regular lessons then alternate your lessons between the two programs.

Who Are The French Conversation Lessons For?

These lessons are for anyone who has a level of fluency in French (intermediate or advanced) who wishes to practice their verbal expression, improve their comprehension skills in a structured class. You will be gently corrected while speaking in order to gain better oral fluency. Every session lasts 50 minutes.

How Does the French Conversation Course Program Works?

After registering with a pack of lessons and collecting information about your French skill level and your learning objectives, a teacher will contact you to arrange with you a 50-minutes French session at a day and time most convenient for you.

The session will take place via Internet on Skype, or any other instant messaging and voice chat applications available on the net such as Google Hangouts, Zoom, Viber, etc. Before some of the sessions, the teacher may send instructional material to you such as an article, a picture, a story or a role play to perform. Finally we’ll use this opportunity as a conversational topic during the lesson.

Once the lesson is over, we’ll schedule your next lesson date directly with your teacher. After the lesson, the teacher will send the notes that were taken during class time in a Word file for you to review.

EXTRA: In addition to the lessons and the homework and in order to practice your French on a daily basis, you will be able to join to answer to The “Question du Jour” in our private Facebook group. It is a place where all students can respond in French to our daily questions. After you’ve responded an online French tutor will read and correct your response. This is a great way to test your French language skills on a daily basis. This value added service is completely free to all French for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students.

How Do I Sign Up?

The cost per lesson decreases when you purchase lessons in bulk. Your teacher will then customize each lesson with topics of interests that motivate you. You’re receiving real value with an individualized learning programme. Our curriculum allows you to make significant progress on a weekly basis.

The minimum commitment is 4 lessons. If your goal is to make significant progress, upgrade to a bigger package to get bulk discounts.
