Business French Lessons

Experience a comfortable and motivating one-on-one Business French course from your office with a professional and friendly French native teacher on Zoom or Skype. The webcam and the chat board bring an important visual side to the lesson, which makes the interaction between the student and the teacher very clear and lively. You’ll be able to follow with ease as the teacher writes the new vocabulary, the business or corporate related French phrases, expressions, grammar points and corrections on the Skype/Zoom chat board. Gain real confidence in speaking while learning at your own pace, and learn the French that you need and use it immediately in your work environment!

• Communicate with your clients, your colleagues and your superiors in a work environment, as well as how to interact in a business social context.
• Learn the French Business language with expressions and idioms used in directing a meeting, giving suggestions, proposing viewpoints, expressing your concerns, holding a sales meeting, and negotiating.
• Make a presentation or a speech.
• Prepare for a job interview in French or for a question. We can also help you translate and adapt your curriculum vitae into French.
• How to answer questions to a journalist or a press conference.
• Translate some documents, a movie script, emails, etc..

For anyone who has at least a pre-intermediate French language level (someone who can already converse in basic everyday life situations).

After evaluating your current French level and your objectives with an advisor, a teacher will arrange with you a one-to-one 60-minute French lesson at a day and time most convenient to you. The lesson will take place via Internet with Skype or Zoom, or any other instant messaging and voice chat applications available on the net such as Google Hangouts, Viber, etc.

At the end of the lesson, you will schedule your next lesson date directly with your teacher.

After each lesson, the teacher will send about 1hr of homework for the student to complete before the following lesson. A Business French teacher will correct your homework. (Most private language schools do not offer this additional work but it is crucial in order to make real progress!) The homework’s purpose is to allow the student to practice the new elements taught during the lesson as well as to acquire new vocabulary and idiomatic expressions.

Your learning package will be added to your profile and the lessons will be taken at your own pace. Once you’ve finished your package, you can continue learning by renewing your package.

Learn French at Home has created a series of e-books with audio links in order to practice your verbal comprehension skills. The eBooks also include grammar exercises. These e-books are mostly used for homework assignments. Your Business French teacher will inform you which package of eBooks to order. Your chosen eBooks will depend on your French level and your French learning objectives.

In addition, according to your objectives, your advisor might ask you to order another book related to your French learning objective. For example:
