Tutor Profile

Bonjour, my name is Phénicie, I am a French native speaker, I can also talk English and Spanish fluently and a little bit of Portuguese and Khmer. I was born in the beautiful city of Montpellier, in the south of France. I grew up in this eclectic town and got my diploma in foreign  languages with a focus on Spanish and English. I anchored these skills through my travels in Asia, South America, Center of America, and Africa. I have always been attracted by other cultures and other countries and I am always happy to meet people from around the world.

Also, I enjoying working as much with adults as I do with children. My mother works as a kindergarten assistant, and I started to help her taking care of the children we had at home from a young age and helping them with their homework. Later, from 2014 until 2016, I gave free courses during two years to children from 3 years old to 12 years old in a non-profit organization. In 2017 I taught  in a school in Laos, as a teacher for students in primary school, middle school, and high-school. I’ve also been giving private French lessons to adults and adolescents on Zoom and it’s been such as rewarding experience. It is a different way of teaching, and I enjoy it very much.

When I have free time, I love meditating, drawing, painting, writing (poetry), reading, dancing, swimming, doing yoga, playing charango, piano, and singing.
