Tutor Profile

Hello ! My name is Manuela, I am a French native speaker and I live in the French Alps. I love the outdoors and I am a mountain girl through and through.

I enjoy discovering new cultures and I have lived several years in the UK where I worked and studied.
Languages have always been a passion of mine. I was fortunate enough to attend an international establishment while in high school, which means I was exposed early on to a multicultural environment.

I hold a Bachelor degree in Modern Applied Languages and a Master’s in Translation. While in college, I also studied linguistics and teaching theory.
In the past few years I have worked as a translator and interpreter. I have also worked as a private French teacher with children and teenagers whose family had recently arrived in France. This has been an absolutely beautiful experience. I was so happy for them as I watched them grow in confidence in their language skills.

It is important to me to provide a safe and supportive learning environment. I will always do my best to make the lessons engaging and to adapt to the student’s needs. It will be my joy to share the French language and culture with you.
